The science behind Cortaflex - what makes Cortaflex different?
Originally designed for the Race Horse market (Equine) and Dog Breeding (Canine) market, the unique Cortaflex formula was then developed on the back of this success into a Human variety.

We all know that Glucosamine and Chondroitin are key components to keep Joints strong and healthy and that when Joint problems occur, it is often a lack of these two key nutrients. Glucosamine and Chondroitin are large molecules and so are often difficult to absorb within the body, particularly after prolonged use. Where Cortaflex is different is that it avoids all the absorption problems normally associated with Glucosamine and Chondroitin (you should be taking approx. 1500mg daily to get any benefit) by using the smaller isolates of Glucosamine and Chondroitin.
|
| Cortaflex is different from normal Glucosamine and Chondroitin tablets as it is formulated from the smaller key refined pharmaceutical-grade isolates, amino acids and co-enzymes, that make up Glucosamine and Chondroitin, including Glutamine, Glutamic Acid, Glucuronic Acid, Glycine and Proline. These smaller molecules are more easily absorbed into the blood stream, resulting in more of the nutrients getting to the required area, making it more effectively absorbed. Most of our Customers use Cortaflex after finding prolonged use of normal Glucosamine and Chondroitin where the initial effects are no longer evident. |

Human Cortaflex is available in 2 strengths - Human Cortaflex and Human Cortaflex HA both in capsule form. Human Cortaflex HA contains 400mg of active ingredients together with Hyaluronic Acid (a key component to healthy synovial fluid within the Joint) whilst Human Cortaflex offers a maintenance level of 200mg of active ingredients in an easy to swallow cellulose capsule.

|
Canine Cortaflex is available in three different formulas - Canine Cortaflex Capsules, Canine Cortaflex Powder & Canine Cortaflex Joint Care Powder and Canine Cortaflex Solution, making it easy to administer either directly by the capsule or by mixing into the food with the Powders or Solution.
|
| Equine Cortaflex is available for working and non-working horses alike, which is available in either a Solution or Powder formula for easy mixing into food. |

What is the difference between Human Cortaflex and Human Cortaflex HA Capsules?
Human Cortaflex contains 200mg of active ingredients in the capsules in comparison to Human Cortaflex HA which contains 400mg of active ingredient. Human Cortaflex is normally used for those wishing to maintain their current level of joints and the more potent Cortaflex HA is normally used by those with more severe joint issues. We always recommend when you initially starting taking Cortaflex to take two capsules a day initially, to get your body used to absorbing the nutrients (and also to provide quicker results). This is of course only a suggestion and Customers who have adopted this approach have noticed a quicker result than those who have not.

Be Realistic with your approach

It is important to remember that whilst Cortaflex is the next best thing to standard Glucosamine and Chondroitin supplements, we all absorb nutrients and supplements in different ways and that what works for a friend may not work for you. Your Joint condition also has a bearing on how well the nutrients are absorbed too, so if you have had problems for years, it may take longer for you to see any results. We generally say that most Customers allow upto 6 weeks of taking Cortaflex before they truly know if Cortaflex will work for them. In our experience, most Customers continue on Cortaflex.
